Thomas
Becher (Year of birth 1972) is a hobby-photographer for longer than 15
years. Already in the beginning of this hobby he was fascinated by
experimenting with light, shadow and contrast. That’s why monochrome
photography became his special subject.
He
is engaged in nude-, portrait- and travel- and – since
2001 – in event- and concert-photography. Becher is
able to catch the atmosphere of rock-, pop- or jazz-concerts in his
impressive portraits of the artists – so at gigs of Placebo, Ben
Becker and Till Brönner. His photos from Ben Becker ("Wir heben
ab"-Tour) are published on www.benbecker.de.
Thomas
Becher works with the following equipment:

is interested in new possibilities and ideas not only concerning to
picture-contents but also regarding to the materials. So prints on
canvas, linoleum and wood are created.
